Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Client Services by maintaining a working knowledge of client programs, objectives and expectations
  • Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data
  • Analyze and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of data
  • Analyze reports of data duplicates or other errors to provide ongoing appropriate inter-departmental communication and monthly or daily data reports
  • Monitor for timely and accurate completion of select data elements
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Perform data entry, either manually or using scanning technology, when needed or required
  • Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
  • Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
  • Ensure internal timelines are met and that changes are communicated appropriately
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in the following areas:
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Must be able to work with little or no supervision
    • Must have advance knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
    • Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to work in a team environment
    • Must have a customer service attitude

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years CPG/Tier 1 Retail Supplier/Tier 1 Retailer experience required
  • Heavy Analytic experience in a retail environment is highly desired, priority given to applicants with RetailLink, Nielsen, IRI Data or Walmart Optimization exposure.
